Guadalajara Film Market & Producers Network (Marché du Film, Festival de Cannes) March 15 & 16, 2010.

In collaboration with Producers Network and the Marché du Film de Cannes, for the fourth consecutive year, Guadalajara Film Market & Producers Network will take place on March 15 and 16, 2010.The program is made up of two day breakfast meetings—a series of thematic roundtable discussions—gathering together international producers.

In these sessions, following the model of the Producers Network, each table is ‘hosted’ by a moderator with a specific industry background, who encourages the discussion between a guest of honor and a group of high profile producers. Six recognized moderators actively involved in promotion, distribution, financing, festival programming or international sales will be able to draw upon their own experiences when working with each day’s guest of honor.

This setting provides ideal conditions to share expertise and identify potential producing partners. Some of the topics that will be discussed are: copyright, film sales, international festivals strategies, co-productions and film financing.

Producers Network is reserved for producers whose main activity is production and who have produced (as producer, co-producer or executive producer):

• At least one feature film theatrically released within the last 3 years (Credits as associated producer or line producer won’t be accepted).

If you don’t meet this particular requirement, you can also register if you have produced

• Either a minimum of 3 features, 6 documentaries and/or TV series within the last 5 years.

Participation in all breakfast meetings—all English language sessions—is strictly for producers registered at the Producers Network.
