The 25 GUADALAJARA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL is pleased to invite you to attend our next edition that will take place from March 12th to 19th 2010.
In the past three years the FICG through the INDUSTRY Section has consolidated its efforts to promote filmmaking in Latin America, Spain and Portugal.
- Over 1,500 Industry Delegates,
- 325 Buyers from around the World,
- 115 Sales Agents of Ibero-American Films, and
- 1,040 Companies have gathered in our Industry Activities.
In addition, 123 film projects have been submitted as part of the Ibero-American Film Co-production Meeting and Guadalajara Construye, and at least 33 of these projects have been successfully concluded through their involvement in the FICG, to date some have received about 20 International Film Awards
For 2010, FICG25 will offer the following Industry Activities:
- 8th. Guadalajara Film Market
- “Made in Mexico” Market Screenings
- Video Library with the most recent Ibero-American productions
- Exhibition area for the Audiovisual Industry
- Short Up!!! A space devoted to the industry’s short films
- Business Meetings with sales agents
- VI Ibero-American Film Co-production Meeting for projects in development
- Fourth edition of Guadalajara Film Market & Producers Network
- Guadalajara Construye 4, for films in the postproduction stage
- Digital Space V
- Iberoamerican Film Crossing Borders
- 4th Forum Present & Future of Mexican Cinema
- Expotec 3
Activities will take place at the Festival Headquarters in an atmosphere conducive to sharing ideas and meeting and communicating with directors, producers, distributors, buyers, sales agents, and experts in the field. Year after year, we are proud to corroborate that this scenario has contributed to the strengthening of cultural exchanges in a unique commercial atmosphere in Latin America. |
