Program

The 25th Guadalajara International Film Festival will showcase over 250 films as part of its program in sections in and out of competition. The official sections in competence include feature fiction films and documentaries as well as short films. All the competition is reserved for films produced in Mexico and Ibero America.

The films that will be screened represent the newest cinematographic proposals from around the world produced in 2009 and 2010.Most of those films will be screened before the Mexican audience for the first time, having their national and even international premiere in our city.

In addition to our traditional sections, this year we present a special selection of films from our guest country, France, the second film industry in the world, a classic, artistic cinema that always reinvents itself and sets up new trends.
